Course objective & result
This SIR combined course is intended for High Pressure Operator Machine Operators who are required to be SIR certified for their work. The course consists of an e-learning module as mandatory pre-study, followed by classroom training days.
During this combined course, participants learn how to carry our specialist high-pressure cleaning independently and in coordination with others, fully in accordance with SIR guidelines. After completing the full course and successfully passing the examination, the participant receives the official SIR High Pressure Operator Machinist certificate, which is valid for five years.

This course is intended for High Pressure Operators who independently operate high-pressure installations and supervise colleagues during specialist cleaning operations.

A High Pressure Operator Machinist works with advanced high-pressure installations and is responsible for both operating equipment and guiding colleagues during high-pressure activities. Working safely is essential to prevent (serious) accidents.

What does the SIR High Pressure Operator Machinist (HDO-M) combined course look like?
This high-pressure course covers both theory and practice of working with high-pressure equipment in accordance with the latest SIR guidelines. The combined programme consists of:
E-learning
Prior to the classroom training days, participants must complete an e-learning module as mandatory pre-study. This e-learning must be successfully completed before participation in the classroom sessions is allowed.
After completing the e-learning, participants continue directly with day two of the full three-day classroom course. The combined course therefore consists of one e-learning module and two classroom training days, including the official SIR examination on the final day.

The SIR examination
The examination consists of a theoretical and practical component, demonstrating that participants can work independently, responsibly, and in accordance with SIR guidelines, while also supervising others.
